Common questions
Can I guarantee an exact file size?
The tool aims to stay at or below the target. Some images cannot reach extremely small limits without losing too much detail or becoming very small, so the result reports the actual size.
Does compressing upload my image?
No. The image is processed in your browser and downloaded from your device.
Why did the image dimensions change?
If lowering JPEG or WebP quality is not enough, the tool reduces dimensions to try to meet your target.
